

Rupinder Sidhu graduated from the Royal London Hospital Dental School, in 1998. Following Vocational Training in Kent, she undertook several posts to broaden her experience. These included an Associate General Dentist in London, Maxillofacial Surgery in Wales, Community, Paediatric and Restorative Dentistry posts in Birmingham. During this time, she obtained her Membership in the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in England.
In 2004 she undertook her Specialist training in Orthodontics at King’s College London. During her training she was awarded a Masters in Orthodontics with her thesis on “Frictional Characteristics of the Damon and Smartclip System”.
In 2008 she obtained her Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh. Rupinder, subsequently gained entry onto the General Dental Council’s Specialist list to hold the title of “Specialist Orthodontist”.
Rupinder has a keen interest in the field of Self- Ligating and Aesthetic Orthodontics.
She is currently involved in training orthodontic therapists at the University of UCLAN and providing Orthodontics in a multidisciplinary setting in Birmingham and has her own Specialist practice in Southampton.
Her personal interests include doing voluntary work for the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University and the Janki Foundation. She is a keen jogger and enjoyed completing the Flora London Marathon. She also enjoys scuba diving, 4WD through rough terrain and skiing.

He originally left university qualified as an Electrical Engineer but then spent five years in the wholesale sector. From this experience he has a keen interest in how things work and an understanding of high customer service.
Mark has gained his diploma in executive management in 2009 which enhaces his role as the practice manager.
Mark also brings this into the local volunteer work he does. He is a qualified Duke of Edinburgh trainer, in which he can train young adults up to Silver level, and is the ‘Akela’ (Cub pack leader) at a local Cub Scout group.
Mark's current interests are sky diving, salsa dancing and martial arts.
Neil joined the Southampton Orthodontic Centre in February 2000.
He obtained his Dental Nurse qualification in 2002 and has continued to further his training by passing the Radiography Certificate in December 2003, the Oral Health Certificate in May 2007 and more recently the Orthodontic Nurse’s Certificate in December 2007.
Neil has recently been accepted to take the diploma in orthodontic therapy at bristol university hospital in 2011.
Tracy joined the Southampton Orthodontic Centre in March 2005, having previously worked within the Health and Beauty industry. She holds the Certificate in Dental Nursing after passing her exam in November 2007 and has passed her dental radiography certificate in june 2010
Tracy has undergone orthodontic treatment herself which has given her ‘patient perspective’. She knows what you’ll be experiencing and therefore can assist in any care or advice that you require.
Tracy is developing her role within the practice and progressing to senior clinical assistant.
